Jessica
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Social Science with Honors in Communication, majoring in Journalism, from Hong Kong Baptist University and a Masters of Social Science in Social Work from The University of Hong Kong. After moving to Australia Jessica then completed her Masters of Occupational Therapy at the University of Canberra in 2024.
Following her postgraduate studies, Jessica worked at the Program for the Gifted and Talented at the Faculty of Education of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She specialised in working with twice-exceptional clients, who are highly intelligent individuals with disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Jessica was key in coordination of educational programs that nurtured academic excellence while addressing social skills and emotional regulation.
Jessica also has experience working with Woden Community Service as an Out of School Hours Care Educator, where she gained experience in supporting children with developmental disabilities like Global Developmental Delay (GDD), ASD, and ADHD. Jessica is dedicated to empowering individuals to improve their daily living skills and achieve their goals. Her professional interests focus on paediatrics, vision impairments and mental health.
